It’s working!

Altogether now I’ve lost 4 pounds in 4 weeks. Slow and steady. I’m pretty pleased, obviously I’d like to lose it a bit quicker, but I’m not starving myself whatsoever, I’m eating lots, enjoying my food.

I’m now off to work off a bit of the easter egg I ate today – a bit naughty but it is easter sunday, and I’m not denying myself the good stuff! Just being sensible and not over doing it. There would have been a time I would have eaten both the easter eggs I have at once. Not anymore though. I just feel more in control. I understand the way you can have anything you want, but you have to then compromise and say I can have an easter egg, but I can’t have the can of lagar I fancy too, or wine. Tomorrow I’ll have the wine or the can. That sort of thing.

I’m really annoyed with the quorn bacon because I thought they were free and it was only after eating them I realised they weren’t. Not to worry though, they were quite nice and bacon tasting. I just wanted to start the day off syn free and I didnt! Also disappointed the cottage pie was 6.5 syns. I usually get the chilled one rather than the frozen one as that is is only 3 syns on green. OH well.

Feeling quite motivated today to do some more exercise – I WANT RESULTS!!!!!!!! Had a lovely dinner, quorn apple  pork style burgers are brilliant. Very tasty.

A lot more committed today to the diet than in previous days.

Super noodles, baked beans, quorn sausages, eggs, potatoes, onions, tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, kiwi, a bit of some rice pudding I made that went wrong, some bacon super noodles that were awful. Two low fat asda yogurts.

 10.5 syns is not bad at all for today. I dont feel like Ive been at all deprived either, the chocolate lolly and hot chocolates have kept my sweet tooth happy.


Getting Back On Track

I really need to sort this syns thing out because I’m just going way over every day due to my lack of self discipline. I am now visualising stepping on my scales on sunday and seeing a loss in weight. I have to think how happy that will make me. Happier than eating syns!!! I’m actually off work a few nights this week so I will be able to fit in some exercise. Yes that’s got to be my goal. 30 minutes of Wii fitness coach (aerobics) for the next 3 days whilst I’m off. Cool :)

FATAL trip to the bakers for some fresh bread turned into a syns day – cake and a hot cross bun :(


Green Day : Sunday 5th April

Today I lost some more weight in my weigh in, which considering how badly the syns have gone this week is amazing. Just shows how much extra I used to eat on top of this as I used to see a weekly gain! The main thing is I’m losing weight now, even if it’s in small increments. And I have to think how much better I could do if I could just stick to the 5-15 syns allowance every day!

Went on a lovely drive in the country with my partner and got an ice cream. Just what was needed although still feeling quite ill from last night. Probably going to be making cheese jacket potatoes for tea. And no more syns tonight!!!

I’m so glad  its the weekend. I need some time off work to recover and catch up on my life as its been a bit of a whirlwind the past 2 weeks. More organisation of my meals is definitely needed. Sometimes I work late, like last night we only made tea at 9pm.

Thats what nights out do for you. It was going great aswell, then the alcohol kicks in and I ended up having chips on the way home and a picnic at home to finish them off. Well I’m not going out next weekend as  I’m working so that’s a bonus for the diet.
